In October 2009 Norman Sanders decided that he would step down as the Editor of Tattingstone Newsletter after 13 successful years at the helm.
Immediately a working party was setup and chaired by Chris Chambers. He was joined by Airavata Carroll and Brandon Plumbly.
Over the next 2 months the committee looked at every aspect of running the Parish Newsletter, including the design, content, print and distribution.
The decision was taken that in order to progress the newsletter and bring it inline with surrounding village communications, we would need to sell a limited amount of advertising space in order to fund the changes we planned to make.
We have also increased the newsletter to an 8 page publication, allowing us to include much more information about what’s going on in and around Tattingstone.
The transition came to an end on the 19th of December 2009 when we went to print and since then the newsletter has gone from strength to strength.
Since the first publication Josh Fisher has joined the team as our Website Administrator and Wendie Fisher as our Treasurer.
