| Tree of Life Events |

Enjoy a Quiet Day in a Summer Garden in Erwarton. 17 July 10.30 am - 4.00 pm. Led by Ann Baeppler, an interfaith minister. A day to savour the beauty of the season, to feel our connection with nature and to be still in the company of others. The day may include poetry, meditation and music.

Tree of Life consists of a group of people on the Shotley Peninsula who organise a programme of events to foster the creative spirit.

Saturday 3rd July, 9.30 - 4.30. Grab yourself a bargain and support your local charities. Look out for signs and balloons all around the village.
The village Hall will be open for a table top sale, refreshments by the W.I and toilets available. In aid of St Elizabeth Hospice (Carla Dawson tribute fund), Arthritis Research, East Anglia’s Children Hospice (Treehouse appeal). SOS is holding a summer party from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday the 23rd of June. Oliver Paul has kindly offered to host the event at Freston Lodge. It will be an opportunity for members to get together in relaxed surroundings and discuss current issues affecting the Shotley Peninsula with your committee. There will be a glass of wine and canapés. Members’ guests will be welcome.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday June 8th, 8pm at Tamzin’s, Bay Tree House. We will be discussing two contemporary novels; “Londonstani” by Gautam Mautan and ‘When We Were Bad’. by Charlotte Mendelsan.
