A great day for all

Our annual village fete & dog show was a huge success and I want to thank everyone who turned up and helped make it the success that it was. The weather was fantastic AGAIN and all the events went to plan perfectly.

Our crane lift was popular and so again was the Lowestoft Dog Agility Display Team. The organisers want to thank all the stall holders and volunteers who stuck it out under intense heat to help make the event what it was.

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and found it to be a truely family friendly day out.

Thank you everyone.

Tattingstone Fete & Dog Show has grown in size since its initial launch back in 2007 when it was just a village fete with live music.

In 2009 we moved the event to the village playingfield where a vast amount of space was available to add more features to the day.

Since then we have added a Dog Show that is run by Abbey Dac Dog Show provider and now we have displays such as the Lowestoft Dog Agility display team in the main ring that adds more fun and features for the day.

We pride our event on providing a fun and enjoyable family day out in a traditional country fete setting.

We also open the event up for small traders and charity/organisations to have a stall and sell items or raise awareness for their cause.

Live music and a food and beer tent is present on the day giving you the opportunity relax with a beer and listen to music while watching our brilliant displays provided for the day.

We look forward to seeing you and hope you spread the word about our great event.

Face painting will be available to all the kids.

Live Music on the day

A Punch and Judy Show will be at this years event again.

Chris from the Kings Head in Stutton will be providing the food on the day.

Frank will be doing his gun dog display.

Tattingstone Tractors will be attending this years events.

Westerfield village is situated on the northern outskirts of Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk.
We are a Cotswold Morris team - so you'll see us waving white hankies around and clashing sticks. We also do a spot of 'Rapper' dancing which is a short sword dance from the North East of England. This is a dance that is usually performed in a public bar.
Westrefeldians are all very jolly and possess a decent sense of humour.... which is just as well really.....since we all enjoy a bit of friendly leg pulling when we're out dancing.

The balloons are made from latex which is a natural product which will break down at the same rate as an oak leaf.

The Arena Karate Academy is part of the EKKA Karate Association, members of the English Karate Federation.
